Post subject: Phone booth: “We just called… to say…. we love you.

So I was with some friends having a great time after the burn, and we came across the phone booth that was connected to another one. We picked up and started singing the Stevie Wonder song, and then met up with the group of guys we’d just anonymously serenaded and hugged it out. Introduced ourselves, then said g’bye. Perfect moment. But now I’m plagued by wondering what these guys’ lives are like out in this world and what led up to their being out in that phone booth. So figured I’d throw this out on the Eplaya. Who knows. Slim chance, but it’s worked before for me!

You boop in my booth, I kick you out. I take your booper. I dismantle it for parts. No mercy.

Seriously, I’ll stop asking for fruits and money soon. I promise. Until then, please send all you have.

Excellent Adventure Special Thanks Word Scramble!

Shelly and I would like to extend special thanks to the brave souls who followed us into the desert on board our trusty-but-pre-bill-and-ted vehicles, who fed and helped and loved us despite our foul odors and alkaline-cracked feet. Further thanks still to the zesty few who made our wild idea seem oddly possible, and to the late nights, hazy mornings, silicone, zip-ties, overnight packages, and solder flux that tied it all together. We couldn’t have done this without you.

Double-plus thanks to Daniel Massey and Aaron Koblin for moral support, inspiration, and enough enthusiasm to keep this lopsided beast (by which I mean my optimism) afloat. Fine gentlemen, those two.

No existing language can properly express my thanks to Ryan Alexander, Chris Condrat, Vinh Pham, and Odielson Souza, without whose tireless efforts none of this would have come together.
